radlilimI've finished another birthday gift, Waking the Witch by Kelly Armstrong. I've never been much of a fan of the Women of Otherworld books that focus on the witches, though 21 year old Savannah is a lot easier to deal with than the 16 year old one. It was a good character development book. I feel it should have had a lot more supernatural aspects. It was mostly a detective novel, and then at the end ALL OF THE SUPERNATURAL was shoved in. It did do a nice set up for the next (and last) book in the series, so I'll chalk it down to a set up story.
