radlilimI was put in charge of my area at the post office today. Which is kinda crazy since I've been there for about 3 months. The guy who is usually back there had to cover for someone else and his back up is off this week. The third choice is pretty useless, and it turns out I'm faster than that guy. So I was telling the others what to do (though they know their jobs, they've both been there longer than me), deciding what task to do next. And I was in charge of all of the accountable mail (delivery confirmation, certified mail, registered mail, etc.). It went well and I was told a few times that they wish I wasn't leaving. Which makes me feel good, but I'm still excited to be out of there in a week.
It snowed again today. I don't think it will stick, but not nice weather at all.
All of the paperwork for Areoteck/Omnipress is filled out. I'm all set to go. And I'm really excited that I get insurance though Areoteck right away (advantages to starting out as a temp through an agency). I really need new glasses, mine are so scratched up. So I need to look into that insurance and get into an eye doctor soon. It's also nice to know I'll have health insurance as I start playing softball and volleyball soon.
Laura, Jack and co. are having fun in Thailand. They are there with Laura's in-laws for spring break. I'm looking forward to a few months when they come back home and I can see them.
