radlilimMet up with mom and grandma yesterday for lunch half way between our house and theirs. Chatted for a bit and then they gave me my christmas tree. The freezing drizzle was bad enough that I didn't feel comfortable driving to Oregon to go to Angela's birthday party, so we ended up staying at home and decorating. House and tree look nice.
Today is a lot of work followed by a holiday party at Paul's work. Skipping volleyball for it, but that's OK. I am getting really, really tired of working all the time. I want a day off where I can do what I want. Hell, what I want is an entire weekend off. A lot fewer stresses in my life would be nice too.
Also it'd be nice if the city decided to have the snow plows out today to scrape up all of the slushy, melted snow before it all refreezes and the roads are even worse than before.
