All of my files on our server at work for my project are gone. Sometime over the weekend someone deleted them, I think. I'm sure it was on accident, but that doesn't help me any. Hopefully there was a back up done on Friday and it can be reloaded. All except the files I kept in the "do not back up" folder. I had them there because they were just for sorting purposes and had to go off to the printer this week. So I'll have to do that again. I hate my job.

The water heater and softener was pretty much installed on Monday. There are still some leaking joints and we have a bit more electrical work to do, but after today Paul and Dave should have it done. I hope.

It was nice to take a shower at home again, and not have to go to the gym. It wasn't much of a day off, but we accomplished a lot, which should mean something.

I'm so upset now, I just don't know what to do. I guess I really shouldn't be put in charge of projects. I forget too many details.

You sound calmer than I would be if someone erased my fails. I think that would involve incoherent squawking. :) Hang in there.

For your amusement - I went to visit Rah (my main artist) last night, and we were tossing around ideas for stuff and she re-sketched a couple of pictures, including one with an oil lamp on Silveo's desk. She loves drawing Silveo's tail, and I mentioned that it might possibly be a fire hazard. *whoomp!* She responded with this hilarious chibi of Silveo running around frantically with tail aflame and Gerard chasing after him with a bucket of water going, "Hold still!"

So...at least your tail's not on fire? ;)

I've given up caring on this project. The client likes to bitch and moan, but never delivers their part of the work on time. And no one here yet has blamed me for anything. And while I've made a few mistakes that caused problems/meetings/extra-work, I'm still new at this whole project management thing, so the bosses seem to understand. I've just been though so much stress on this project, I've given up caring.

Also I tend to edit out the drama as I write a LJ blog, I always feel like I'm whining, so assume I'm freaking out 10 times more than it sounds. :)

:D She wanted to ink and color the chibi, so I left it. When/if it gets posted, I'll let you know. I also found out that she usually puts these hilarious, snarky comments on the sketches, which she then erases before sending to me. I told her to stop erasing them!

"Incoherent squawking". That's a phrase I'll have to remember.

I'm actually semi-buried here myself, made worse by the work server being down for a day and a half. I tried teaching young kids with their gnat attention spans, with only the one video that I'd managed to capture and some coloring pages. It's not on the scale of your crisis, but I understand some.
