Sep. 25th, 2006 08:14 amThe power went out at Apex sometime this weekend, thus my computers' UPSs are dead, so I'm on my laptop from another desk. Why am I just not at my desk? The lights in my office don't work either. Other lights do, so I think it's a tripped breaker or something. And since I get in before the IT people = other desk. The good news is the laptop will contect to the network and I already have the book I need to work on on it, since I worked for like 3 hours yesterday morning on it (I'm a very good boy).
Rest of weekend was OK/blah. Friday we were going to go out, but Bob got my cold, so was dead to the world. Hit him much harder, but I'd chalk that up to him still healing. Saturday I met up with Becky and Angie for lunch, made plans for the baby shower, and then went up to Hartford for In Nomine. Game went well, didn't kill anyone (= good) but came close (= good game). They even accomplished stuff. I find it hard to GM a demon game. I am a natually "good guys should win" gamer, but I have to let the PCs (who are demons, and thus bad guys) accomplish goals and all. As much as I'd like Heaven to win all the time, I have to not let that happen, else the War would be over.
Sunday I worked on Apex work for a bit, then we went to bowling. I sucked a lot, but have decided that bowling isn't one of my sports and will just live with my boyfriend bowling with his off hand and still beating me. After the games we met up with David, had late dinner at Olive Garden (Bobby got very over full) and then went to David's house to hang out and watch TV. David is fun to talk to, I'm happy that I like most of Bob's friends. Makes doing stuff easier.
Tonight we might go and see Covenant before euchre.
