The weekend was both awesome and sucky.
The awesome: spending lots of time and nights with Bob. He has surgy today on the arm, so I'm going over after Euchre at the Shamrock to make sure there are no problems with his first night of recovery.
The sucky: work wasy too early and way too much at the Hilton. Saturday started out OK, not too busy. Then they pulled me from the barista to take tables, since two servers called in. But I still got the higher pay rate while making good money in tips. Sunday was barista all day, but it started at 4am and went to 11am. And it was constant all day. It was just me and Shannon, with Collin helping us as basically a barista-back. We did over $700 in sales be fore 6am and finished with like $1600 for the entire 7 hour shift. Which is more than the entire breakfast part does on an average day. And all we were doing was selling coffee and rolls. Made good tips again.
Unfortunently, I had to cancel on both In Nomine games this weekend. I'm kinda upset about that.
