(no subject)

I'm not sure how this trip is going. At first I felt like I was talking myself out of a job, but I think that was just me worrying. Now it seems I'm getting new assignments. Which is good, and doing something new would be cool. The trick is that I need to stop doing the stuff that I am doing (but not supposed to be). See all production should be over in India now. But, it's not. So we sometimes have to help out. That will need to stop if I'm to finish the next R&D project on time. Will talk with the big man when I get home.

I'm also a little worried about trying to meet diamond_dust06 tonight. Not meeting him, but getting there. The best I can figure, I have to get a cab (i.e. figuer out how to tell one where to pick me up) and take it to the Metro. Then I need to figure out the Metro. Then go to the meeting place (which we still need to figure out). And then there is the return trip, which has the added complication that I need to figure out when the various modes of transportation stop running. But I can figure it out, right? I mean I'm not that much of a small town boy... right?

Oh, and we aren't sure how we are paying for where I'm staying. That's a concern also.

And the demo this afternoon. Worried about that too.
