Oct. 14th, 2005 08:31 amIt is amazing how drasticly and quickly my mood can change when I get hurt. Last night (won two of three) was going really well until a jammed my finger on Mark's hand when I was diving. Wasn't his fault, wasn't mine. I tried not to get mad at him, and I wasn't it just hurt. Still does. Not sure how to fixit, does one go to the chiropractor for fingers?
After that I sat down with the group and tried table top gaming agian. I had thought that my year or so of online gaming might have changed my gaming style. I was wrong. It was the same as always. How can I be one of the most outgoing online RPers (least that's my take, if I'm wrond, someone correct me), the one that pings everyone to say hi and intorduce myself and my characters, the guy who will make up small plots to keep people interacting, and still sit in a table top session and not really talk to anyone? Is it that one is face-to-face and the other isn't? Or is it the one-on-one set up vs. the group game? Maybe since one has firm and extensive rules and the other is free form? Matbe it just that they are different groups of friends and I act differently with them. It is something to think about.
Not sure what is up this weekend yet. Tournament on Saturday for sure. I'd like to chill at home, but without net I get bored quickly.
