Dec. 27th, 2004 09:06 amSo... Phantom of the Opera totally rocked last night. Which I went into expecting. After 10 minutes into the 2 hours and 21 minutes of the movie I already wanted to own it. The transitions were exactly as I had pictured it. See, after like 4 years of owning the entire production on CD and listening to it a lot, I had still never seen it. So I had a lot imagined scenes in my head, and many of them were correct. Or at least meshed with the ideas of Weber and Schumacher. And I finally understand the second half of the movie! I had the spot with the chandelier all wrong. *shakes head* But now I know how it should go, and there was an entire element in the movie I never knew about because the dialogue isn't on the CD, only the music and signing.
I had an awesome time, and I'm pretty sure that I dreamed about it. Much better than anything I would have seen at the Overture Center, if I could afford that. Now I need to go make icons...
Edit Also, happy birthday to MJ! (yesterday that is)
