Some days I wish I could just go home after a long day at work and relax. But I just won't let myself do that. I get home and see the 3 million things that need to be done. And then I try and do some of them.

Also, mowing the lawn was not letting my ankle rest. It's still swollen.

We are also in war with the DVR. It refuses to record Torchwood! We set it up to record, make it the highest priority, nothing else is scheduled to record, and nothing happens. Or even worse it records something neither of us have ever heard of. I need to sit down with it and kick it's settings into shape.

So I've missed the first 3 days of Torchwood now, and BBCA is editing out 30 minutes from each episode when they reply them. WTF? I do have it burned to disk from downloads of the British airing, but I'm sure the quality would be better from BBCA. Very annoyed with it now.

I can get HQ copies of the BBC aired eps. Just let me know if you'd like them.

I'll see what I downloaded from chad and let you know if I need better ones, thanks!

Did you have American Gods in audio format?

Where did you hear that they're editing 30 minutes out of each episode? The most I've heard people say is 15 minutes which I thought was probably about right until I realised they're taking an hour-fifteen to play episodes which are just under an hour in length (the longest I have is just over 58 minutes long and I've only got downloads of the original run). That means that they've probably cut at most ten minutes off, I'd guess.

A RL friend said that, and looking at the episodes on the DVR, the replays are a half hour shorter, but I guess that could be 10-15 cut out and then fewer commercials also.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiinteresting. The tv guide thing says they've allotted an hour fifteen, but they're only running a half hour worth of stuff then? That's mad.

(Not that it's even worth watching beyond episode 3 or maybe halfway through 4 anyway, but I'll save that 'til after you've seen them *L*)
