I just powered through Artifice, a gay sci-fi web comic. I don't know you reqed it to me (Cai?) but I really liked it. First, it's done, not a WIP. Which is nice. My RSS reader is getting full of the ongoing ones. Also I loved the world and the plot. It a comic where at the end you are, "Oh! Of course, that makes complete sense. I wonder how long the main character had the planned?"

I'm planning on starting on the comic's next one soon.

Yes! I rec'd that to you. *grins* I loved it. I liked the author's commentary on it, too, you know? Like, how he explained that he'd considered doing another short but that it would've just been Deacon kicking ass and we'd already seen that, etc etc. And I really liked that it was finished. You're right - the world development was pretty much awesome all over and the art was good, too. It took a little getting used to, since I wasn't used to the "western" art style in comics, but then I wound up really liking it.

Also, what did I tell you about the judo chop at the end and my complete fist-pumping for Deacon. *grins* Mavan totally deserved it. Bitch.

Yeah I liked how the author handled it. It'd be cool if he did another season. The ending made me think, "when we met Jeff, I'm sure he couldn't use a gun. How long did they plan that break out?"
