We got to see The Hobbit last night, late showing but totally worth it. I liked it, overall.
They added quiet a bit to make the second movie happen, but I'm OK with this. The brown wizard and his rabbits were awesome. I had just read the book a few months ago, and every time something new happened, I realized it was to set up the 2nd movie. And more Tolkin movies = good.
I had a few complaints on changes they made to events that I didn't feel needed to be changed, but that always happens. We saw it in 3D, and I'm not positive that it needed that, but the technology has improved enough that I can move my head around now.
I kinda want to play in an RPG in a dwarf only group now.
Really excited about Star Trek as well.
I've been asked to help out in production again today. I've got stuff to do, but nothing really pressing, so it's off to create books again.
