As far as story telling goes, I really like what they did. They very clearly explain why some of the characters are they way they are and we even get a REAL Bill back story. Granted, I haven't even finished book 3 of the series (I lost interest) so it might be there.

I also really like some of the new characters they introduce in order to give more depth to the existing characters.

Also, Jason actually gets hotter and dumber. Which makes for awesome television!
